Update: Zoetry Paraiso de la Bonita

Written by Paul Rollason
On May 25th, the resort will begin remodeling the kitchen of La Canoa Restaurant. While the renovation is being completed, the interior of the restaurant will be closed to guarantee minimal audio and visual impact to our mutual guests. Guests will still be able to enjoy gourmet cuisine at several outdoor locations. In addition, nighttime activities and themed dinners, including Molcajetes, Mexican and Mayan Nights, will be hosted on La Canoa’s terrace and at Chiringuito Restaurant. This remodeling project is expected to be completed by June 30th.

Ten out of Ten for the Grand Hotel Gozo

Written by Paul Rollason
Paul, We arrived home late Friday evening from a most enjoyable holiday to Gozo. The Grand Hotel was just right and as all the comments previously read on Trip Advisor, and anyone looking for a quiet relaxing holiday could do no better. We were allocated a to floor room overlooking the harbour with balcony as requested, but did in fact pay a little extra for an upgrade to a huge room with a terrace which was superb, and the views are wonderful. Unfortunately the Jacuzzi didn’t work and did in fact blow up during the night – but that was…

Three Cheers for the Kempinski San Lawrenz on Gozo

Written by Paul Rollason
Nothing but compliments coming through this week for the Kempinski resort on the island of Gozo (next to Malta):- Hi Paul, Wish we were still there – it was all great and the hotel in particular was a dream. We shall definitely go back there in the future. The transfers were seamless and your agent called at our hotel on the second day to check that everything was okay, which was helpful. He also checked our flights home I understand. Actually if there was any criticism it lay with Air Malta. The seats booked were further back on the way…

Daios Cove Crete

Written by Paul Rollason
The 40-kilometre three-lane Shaikh Khalifa Highway took nearly four years to build costing $1.7 billion. The journey from Dubai to the emirate of Fujairah now only takes 40/50 minutes. No more driving between lumbering lorries, the journey cuts straight through the Hajjar Mountains to your hotel.
