Location
The Madeira Regency Cliff Hotel is located in Funchal, Madeira's capital on the island's beautiful south coast. Situated in the 'Lido', a tourist area west of the city centre, it is within easy reach of the swimming pools, countless restaurants, cafés, bars, two shopping centres, supermarkets and many other shops. The Lido has also a beautiful kilometre-long seaside promenade, lined with magnificent subtropical gardens and several public swimming pools with access to the sea. It is only a 30-minute stroll from the hotel to Funchal's historic centre, to which the hotel also provides a courtesy bus that ensures a regular service several times a day.
