Restaurants and Bars:

The Restaurant
Located adjacent to the lobby lounge overlooking the water garden and offers contemporary Mediterranean Indian and Asian cuisine served brasserie-style. Four glass-walled 'show kitchens' are arranged around the sides of The Restaurant. Each kitchen specialises in a different type of food from the diverse menu of Arabian, Mediterranean, Indian and south-east Asian cuisine.

Menu highlights include whole spiced Omani hammour fish, chilled tandoori lobster, sashimi and white rabbit korma.

With the chefs cooking apart in the seperate restaurants, the head waiter complete with a head mike speaks to the chefs in the different kitchens to coordinate timings.

Cost: A meal at The Restaurant costs about £25 excluding drinks.

The Lobby Lounge
Located behind the reception area overlooking the water garden and offers a variety of refreshments, cocktails and snacks.

The Chedi Poolside Cabana
Serves an extensive hot and cold snack menu, tempting desserts and assorted refreshments.

The Serai Poolside Cabana
Serves an extensive cold snack menu, delicious desserts, assorted refreshments and waterpipe.

Accommodation:

Serai Guest Room the 55 Serai rooms are housed in the three storey Serai wing. (Maximum occupancy 2 adults)

All rooms have a view of either the Indian Ocean or the majestic mountains of Muscat and comprise of one Queen size bed, built in sofa, open plan bathroom with walk-in wardrobe, separate wc and shower with rain forest head.

Chedi Deluxe Guest Room 52 guest rooms are scattered amongst the one & two storey Chedi wing, looking across water gardens or the mountains. (Maximum occupancy 2 adults)

Additional features include a a king-size bed, a Bose Wave music system featuring radio and CD player and a sofa bench that can accommodate two children. The bathroom area features two open wardrobes, two hand basins, a separate wc and shower.

Chedi Club Deluxe Guest Room

Identical to the Chedi Deluxe Guest Rooms above, but located in the same wing as the Club Lounge. This is where Club guests take their continental breakfast, and can enjoy complimentary cocktails in the evenings, use the free minibar and read the local daily paper of their choice

Chedi Club Suites Located furthest away from the lobby, the 36 suites are either two-storey or single-storey. The single-storey Club Suite breaks away from the flat roof building concept with its dome-shaped ceiling.

Each suite consists of a sitting room and a bedroom. A low window in the sitting room allows guests to enjoy a view of the tranquil ponds or the garden grounds within The Chedi. All suites have balcony, some have sea view

(Maximum occupancy 2 adults and 2 children).

"Very sophisticated and stylish hotel, great location on the beach with the sights of Muscat nearby. We really liked the adult pool directly facing the Ocean and the very chic restaurant offering fusions of Arabic, Asian and Indian cuisine."
