Zighy Pool Villas offer two separate levels with one bedroom and the living room on the lower level and a veranda and a second bedroom on the upper level. Zighy Spa Pool Villas have generous personal space spread over two levels, a great view of the stunning mountain fjords that rise above the azure blue waters of the bay, and also direct access to the beach. Designed and constructed to reflect the typical Omani style and aesthetic traditions of the region, the Six Senses Spa at Six Senses Hideaway Zighy Bay is an oasis on the bay. The entrance to the spa is a grotto-style tunnel whereby guests walk on stepping stones set on water to arrive at the spa reception. The reception area is relatively large with wall niches and low lighting creating a mystic quality. Reflecting the Six Senses Hideaway’s style, the spa walls and floors are of local stone with a typical Omani flat beamed roof.

The spa’s wide-ranging menu of regional and Six Senses signature treatments focuses on holistic and pampering therapies using natural and environmentally friendly products. Treatments are administered by skilled international therapists and specialist practitioners who combine Eastern and Western techniques.

The Six Senses Spa has nine treatment rooms, three of which have outdoor showers, baths and relaxation areas. All treatment rooms have day beds built into wall recesses and mountain views. Each room includes a steam shower with garden views.

Two Arabian-style hammams are signature features of the spa. Designed for the traditional practice of splashing water and relaxation rooms for a head, feet or light body massage after the hammam experience. Connectivity between treatment rooms and the hammam is designed to provide coordinated treatment experiences in two different environments.

The male and female changing rooms have sauna, steam and ice room, private changing areas, showers, individual lockers, and a large relaxation area where guests can enjoy reading while sipping fresh juice or Six Senses Spas signature ginger tea. Additionally, corridors joining the treatment rooms and changing rooms have wall niches displaying crystal clusters.

The Six Senses Spa shop, with its exclusive products, is to one side of reception. A cave style consultation and treatment area, plus a 90sqm gym with state of the art equipment are also located here. A juice bar, built in a traditional Oman mud design, serves guests from the gym and the treatment rooms.

The treatment and more private areas of the spa have separate entrances for men and women. They face toward the mountains rather than the ocean, allowing maximum privacy. Entrance to each facility is through a separate majlis serving local teas, fruit and refreshments in a relaxing environment. Both the female and male majlis offer views of the garden with the benefits of the warm Omani sun.

The resort also offers eleven private Spa Suites incorporated into Pool Villas, which have a separate treatment room for couples or individuals. Some of these treatment rooms offer ocean views and all have steam showers.
