Enjoy stylish dinners at our Restaurant L' Ortolan. We would like to advice you of our smart / evening attire dresscode at our L'Ortolan Restaurant (no Jeans, shorts, sandals or trainers). This restaurant offers outstanding Mediterranean and Maltese cuisine with field fresh vegetables, olives, herbs and citrus picked fresh from the resorts own garden. Country cheeses, olive oil, brilliant red tomatoes exploding with flavour, plates heaped high with tasty fruit - all prepared and served with great care and attention.
In addition to your Ayurveda or Spa treatment, our specially trained chefs could prepare a well-balanced Ayurvedic or Spa meal for you, to compliment your treatments.
Fishermen from the local village of San Lawrenz supply freshly caught fish for the lunch or barbeque buffet. Our Poolbars offer refreshing drinks in a delightful and casual setting. There is also a cafe and lounge with a sundown cocktail terrace and the finest pastries on the island, as well as 24-hour room service. In addition, all our restaurants overlook the beautifully landscaped gardens from their own terraces.

Trattoria San Lawrenz

Chef Francesco Calore creates authentic Italian dishes in a relax yet elegant surroundings. Al fresco dining available in the summer months.

Open from 6:30 pm to 11:00 pm. Casual attire recomended.  At the Trattoria the cuisine appeals to all ages, you can try your favourite pizza or the freshest fish available.

Il Baldakkin

Il Baldakkin, the café and lounge of the Kempinski Hotel San Lawrenz is the perfect place to enjoy a freshly brewed coffee together with a tempting home made pastry.

You can also enjoy a sandwich, a snack or a fresh salad while enjoying the beautiful view of the Gozo valley.

Then, in the evning, our bartenders will prepare your favourite cocktail while listening to soft back ground music.

The Gazebo

Located by the pool, the Gazebo is the ideal place to enjoy a light lunch while enjoying the views of the garden.

Accommodation:

To offer guests the ultimate in comfort, privacy and relaxation, the rooms are made as welcoming as possible.
Their spaciousness and cool stone walls are just what you need when the sun is shining outside and you need time in the shade with comfortable sofas to lounge on.
Each of the rooms and suites have a private balcony overlooking the beautiful valley of San Lawrenz or the resort's landscaped garden and pools.
All are equipped with individually controlled air-conditioning and heating, satellite TV, in-room safe, iron and ironing board, minibar, tea and coffee making facilities, direct telephone and fast Internet connection.

Superior & De Luxe Rooms

Decorated in traditional Maltese style, with natural limestone walls, the rooms range from 35sqm for a Superior room to 40sqm for a De Luxe Room. Most rooms have their own balcony, with Superior rooms enjoying a beautiful country view, while the De Luxe Rooms overlook the pool area and landscaped garden of the resort.

Premium Rooms

With an area of 38sqm the Premium rooms with very large balconies overlook the pool area, the resort's landscaped garden and the beautiful valley of San Lawrenz. These rooms are also equipped wit a Jacuzzi bath and a separate walk-in shower.

Junior Suites

The Junior Suites have a surface area of 48sqm and consist of a bedroom and a separate lounge area. The private balcony overlooks the resort's landscaped garden and pool area.

De Luxe Junior Suites

A total of 6 De Luxe Junior Suites are available, and although they differ in setup and decor, they are all designed to give our guests the ultimate in comfort, privacy and relaxation. With an area of 50sqm these suites consist of a bedroom and sitting room with a very large balcony overlooking the Resort's garden and pool area.

At the KEMPINSKI SPA at SAN LAWRENZ guests can experience a variety of body and soul treatments including Ayurveda, Marine and herbal care, massages, Balneo baths and Vichy water showers.
An Ayurvedic centre is headed by efficient doctors, with professionally trained and experienced staff. Ayurveda defines health as "Purity" of body, mind and soul and is the most natural way to refresh yourself, eliminate all toxic imbalances from the body and regain resistance and good health. The ayurvedic treatments include oil therapy, rejuvenation therapy, body slimming, aphrodisiac therapy, skin care and also a treatment for mental well being.
For the more active guests the facilities include 2 outdoor pools (adults only) and 1 outdoor family pool, 1 heated indoor* and 1 heated indoor exercise pool, Jacuzzi and steam baths.

"Hi Paul - firstly some feedback for you!   The week in Gozo worked out perfectly. Firstly the Club flight on outgoing leg was a great start (if only you could always book it for an extra £40 !! - airport check in etc took only moments and we felt really well looked after during the flight - a very welcome civilised start compared to a crack of dawn Gatwick thing.. Ferry transfer was easy and didn't make it all feel too much of a schlep.   Then the Kempinski experience was a joy from start to end. Everything about the hotel was just so relaxing, absolutely nothing to find fault with. The main thing was how utterly charming the hotel staff were.. the service wasn't always really 'slick' - but the staff would always just go out of their way for you.  The breakfast on the terrace was faultless without any of the hassled atmosphere you often get...  hotel food all good standard etc.  Only slight negative was that the rooms weren't exactly luxurious - a bit bland and with sofas that looked a little tired - but that is picky really as the room was huge, big bathroom, housekeeping twice a day, plenty storage space, lovely view over terrace and pool.  We used the gym, tennis courts and spa and all was as good as you would expect."
