Cornucopia Hotel Gozo a rural hotel a world of timeless charm at this converted Gozitan farmhouse. Located on the outskirts of the pretty Gozitan village of Xaghra, on a high ridge with views over the fertile Imrik valley over to Victoria (the capital of Gozo) and down to the sea at Marsalforn, the hotel has been attractively converted from a traditional farmhouse into a 48 room hotel.
With the bar and lounge area dating back over 300 years, the décor throughout the hotel is traditionally Gozitan from the limestone walls to the arched restaurant with a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere throughout. The Cornucopia makes a special feature of its grounds. Two freshwater swimming pools, a whirlpool and a childrens’ pool are set among gardens and terraces.

Restaurants and Bars:
The Cornucopia restaurant has a romantic atmosphere, enhanced by candles and vaulted stone ceilings.Wake up in the morning to our enriched buffet breakfast. For those who wish a light lunch we have a special snack menu that is served either in the restaurant or outside by the pool. For dinner you have a choice of either A’ la carte or Table D’Hote menus both with a variety of local and international cuisine. Particular favorites with our repeat clients are our Friday Carvery nights and our barbecue nights in the summer.
Poolside barbecues are held weekly in the summer season (normally from June to September) and twice a week in August. During the barbecue you can eat as much as you like from our buffet offering home made soup, assorted salads and rice, baked potatoes, barbecued chicken, fish, spare ribs, lamb chops and sausages. Finish off with fresh fruit, ice cream a variety of home made cakes and coffee. All this is accompanied by music and dancing. When the evenings start to cool down we move this inside and instead offer our ‘Friday Carvery’. Here we also offer an all you can eat buffet with home made soups, pasta and a variety of salads. Our chef will also carve you a generous helping from a choice of succulent roasts including Prime Rib of beef or leg of Lamb and Smoked Ham served with freshly prepared vegetables and potatoes. Fish is also available to order. You can then finish of with a choice of sweets or cheese and biscuits and coffee. Here you can also enjoy and dance to the music of our resident band.
The rustic lounge bar is a cosy place for a drink before calling it a day.

Rustic finished spacious air-conditioned rooms. The hotel comprises of 20 standard rooms, 14 valley view rooms, 9 triple rooms, 3 family rooms and 2 junior suites. Singles receive a twin room for sole use. All rooms have a balcony or terrace.20 standard rooms are decorated in a warm Mediterranean style with natural wooden furniture and tiled floors. Rooms are available with either a twin or a double bed. Some of these rooms overlook the hotel pools while others have a side valley view. These rooms also have a balcony or terrace, en suite bathroom, fully stocked minibar (at a charge), trouser press, direct dial telephone, cable television, hairdryer, ceiling fans, individually controlled central heating/ air conditioning.
14 valley view roomsare decorated in a warm Mediterranean style with natural wooden furniture and tiled floors. Rooms are available with either a twin or a double bed. All the valley view rooms have a private balcony with views over the valley down to Marsalforn bay. The village of Zebbug and the Citadel in Victoria can also be seen. These rooms also have an en suite bathroom, fully stocked minibar (at a charge), trouser press, direct dial telephone, cable television, hairdryer, ceiling fans, individually controlled central heating / air conditioning
2 junior suites offer a larger room with a combined sitting room. The rooms have a double private balcony over the valley and a luxurious bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath. These rooms also have a fully stocked minibar (at a charge), trouser press, direct dial telephone, cable television, hairdryer, ceiling fans, individually controlled central heating/ air conditioning. Family rooms will accommodate two adults and two children.
