Guests at Read’s Hotel and visitors to Santa Maria now have a lighter, less sophisticated, but no less exciting, alternative to the Michelin starred restaurant.

Bistro33 is situated in the olive pressing room.
The room, still with all its original pressing equipment and decorated on bold magenta, is wonderfully atmospheric, providing the perfect setting for the Bistro.

Chef Marc Fosh has worked his magic in creating an ever changing menu full of surprises both in taste and combinations. Try the

“Masaman” Chicken Curry with sweet potatoes, mango and green peppercorns

Grilled mackerel with “Baba Ganoush” smoked aubergine salad
(Roasted onion, cumin, smoked paprika and sour cream)

Read's Restaurant
The dinning room, with its impressive 12 metre arches and fresco decorated walls by English artist Tim Bramfitt, completes a unique dining experience.

Under the guidance of Director Chef Marc Fosh, the restaurant was awarded its Michelin Star in 2003 and more recently Restaurant of the Year in the 2005 German Marcellinos Restaurant Guide.

In 2006 the restaurant was awarded "Most Excellent Hotel Restaurant in Europe" by Condè Nast Johansens and chosen in the same year as one of “10 Best Hotel Restaurants in Spain” by the major Spanish newspaper the “Diario del Mundo.”

During the summer lunch and dinner are served "al fresco" on the terraces that overlook the gardens and mountains beyond.

The Conservatory Bar is a perfect place for a drink anytime of day.
Its glass ceiling tented in delicate muslin sits alongside our main dining room and serves drinks to our summer terraces, outdoor pool as well as our two lounges.

The bar is open 24 hours a day for teas & coffees, cakes and sandwiches or try one of cocktails of the day.

Vespasian Spa: 

The newly extended Vespasian Spa at Read's with a total area of almost 600m2 (6,450sq.feet) will offer the ultimate spa experience, restoring both mind and body to new harmony.

Sports & Health: 

Mountain Bikes

Mallorca is an incredibly popular destination for cyclists of all levels, professionals, serious amateurs and those who just enjoy a gentle ride through the olive and almond groves.
Read’s has its own mountain bikes which are free to hire from reception.
We also have a number of cycling routes mapped out and picnics can also be organised.

Tennis

As well as tennis racquets and balls we can also arrange professional tennis lessons for those who either want to improve their game or are in need of a playing partner.

Accommodation: 

All our rooms are an excellent size and all enjoy views to the mountains, the gardens and the surrounding countryside.

Of the 23 rooms there are 14 with full size private terraces and 1 with three balconies.
No two rooms are alike and all are individually styled and furnished to the very highest standard and have heating, air conditioning, satellite television with DVD player and high speed WI-FI internet connection.

All bathrooms are again an excellent size and, in addition to the standard services, all have a double wash basins, full size baths, showers, bidets as well as hair dryer, bathrobe and slippers.

Some have a Jacuzzi and 11 have separate walk in showers. The toiletries are by Moulton Brown of London.
Read’s does not have mini bars in the rooms but we offer a full 24hour
room service

Classic Double Rooms

The rooms, all individually designed, are situated on the second floor of the main house and offer stunning views of the gardens and the Tramuntana mountains
Each sizable room (approx.35m2) has individual heating and air conditioning facilities, as well as satellite television and complimentary bathrobes and slippers.

Deluxe Double Rooms
These rooms spread over both the first and second floor follow the same individual design as our other rooms though

Junior Suites are situated on the ground floor and are larger than the Deluxe Double rooms.
The seating area allows you more space to relax and from your private terrace you can enjoy the surrounding gardens.

The Suites have a salon, a total floor area of between 50m2 and 60m2 and a private terrace.
Two of the suites are on the first floor and the remaining five are on the ground floor.
All have wonderful views of the gardens and the mountains beyond
