The Gran Melia Salinas was the first hotel to be opened on the Costa Teguise (completely refurbished in 1998) and consequently has the best position on a peninsula between two sandy beaches. The palm tree surrounded swimming pool and tropical gardens give the Salinas a 'Caribbean' atmosphere. This hotel is situated directly facing the Las Cucharas beach and is a ten minute walk from the centre of the Costa Teguise.
