The Kalimera Kriti resort is directly on the sea, and designed in the form of three villages which are harmoniously spread out in the landscape of extensive garden areas and designed in the traditional Minoan architecture with a backdrop of the spectacular mountains.

The bungalows are built with only the most precious of materials; multicoloured Greek marble, carved hard stone and above all respect for an environment of beauty. This creates a truly authentic village atmosphere, you can walk around and continuously new viillage squares and terraces filled with bouganvillea, trees and flowers.

At a distance of about 35 minutes from the airport, and one kilometre from the village of Sissi. This former fishermen's village has remained untouched for years, around the small village centre and the picturesque little port you will find shops, tavernas and kafenions (the traditional Greek coffeehouse).

Facilities: Stretched out over a extensive area amidst the Cretan mountains, with two fresh water swimming pools, one with Olympic dimensions, and a heated indoor pool.
On the 300 metre long sandy beach and by the swimming pools the deck chairs, sunshades and towels are available free of charge. The main building features a vast, elegant reception area and a number of public areas such as bars, lounges, a bridge room and satellite television room. Centred around a small square are the hotel's Tavern, Cafeteria and the Sshopping Arcade. The shops include a boutique, souvenir and jewellry shop, a mini-market, leather and fur shop, and a shop specialized in Greek and Cretan products. An open-air theatre hosts evening events.

Restaurants and Bars: Carefully chosen cuisine, large verandas overlooking the swimming pools, the sea and the sunset, are the main characteristics of the "Artemis" buffet restaurant. A spectacular buffet breakfast is served here every mornings and evenings, gourmet and seafood specialities are served á la carte at the Taverna "Dionyssos' with an extensive list of quality greek wines. Each week there is a Fish Evening, Barbecue or Cretan Evening (supplement.) Next to a natural cave is a typical Greek kafenion (Coffee House), and on the beach a snack bar, Lobby/piano bar with fine views out to the Agean Sea.

Accommodation: The hotel offers 415 rooms, including 141 suites and 40 waterfront bungalows.

The rooms, bungalows and suites are individually designed and decorated, combining elegance and comfort. Furnished in traditional Cretan style, with air-conditioning and heating (in bungalows individually adjustable, in main building centrally controlled), featuring satellite television, direct dial telephone, radio / music, mini-bar, hairdryer and safe deposit box.
