The Andalucian architecture, with its beautiful wooden balconies, makes the hotel seem older and the gardens are maturing nicely. Friendly and efficient service is provided by a staff who work well together.
Dishes from the lavish buffet breakfast at the Arena Beach restaurant can often be enjoyed outside on the terrace. There is a choice of a la carte restaurants featuring creative Spanish cuisine, French/Italian and Asian Fusion dishes. With wonderful sea views the bars are ideal venues for an evening aperitif.
A large spa offers more than 60 thalassotherapy and other treatments. There's pitch and putt golf nearby, and 18-hole course at 2km and some 35 gold courses with 40 km. The hotel is about 3 km from Estepona, with a bus stop about 50 metres away. A hire car would be worthwhile.
