Tobago
Tobago is an island we have visited many times. At the time of independence from Britain Tobago was lumped together with Trinidad, an island with an entirely different character. Consequently Tobago has been rather overlooked and under commercialised giving the island an old world charm. The island's capital Scarborough has nothing going for it apart from the daily market, however the rest of the island has real 'Caribbean atmosphere' small friendly villages directly on the beach, facing the Caribbean or Atlantic Ocean. Two of the most memorable villages to visit are Speyside and Charlotteville both at the north end of the island. Take a days drive to see these villages and the tropical rain forest in the centre of the island..
