The à la carte menu developed specifically for Calabash by Gary Rhodes places a high importance on locally grown seasonal produce, all of which is supplied by the best sources as approved by Gary.
Accommodation:
The hotel has suites housed in ten buildings which are arranged in a horseshoe in eight acres of tropical gardens. These comprise superior, whirlpool or plunge pool suites. All have balconies or patios where breakfast is served by your own maid.The Calabash has a total of 30 suites;
1 Thorneycroft suite with private pool,
7 Suites with plunge pools,
9 Superior Suites with whirlpool baths, and
13 Suites with whirlpool baths (2 are suitable for people who use wheelchairs).
All suites have air conditioning, ceiling fans, showers, baths, hair dryers, CD player, clock radios, iron & ironing boards, lounge area, patio or balcony, mini bars, wall safes and tea and coffee making facilities.
Within the Suites you will find a bedroom, a sitting area, a patio or balcony with sunloungers and a bathroom. Adjacent to the suites, there are small maids pantry in which the maid appointed to your room will prepare your choice of breakfast each morning. The pantries in the rooms are specifically for the use of the maids.
